Following last year’s highly successive recitals and residency of Sébastian Fournier and Sprezzatura, this year’s event will mark the début master class and town and gown recitals of Michel Dalberto, taking Macao on a musical journey, during May 2 & 3 respectively.
Michel Dalberto will also perform at Macao’s Clube de Militar with “Une Vie, Une Carrière”. And, in MCM College Hall next day, make freely available to all, students and gifted pianists interpretative advice by this world-class artist.
In addition, Spring High Table 2016 also marks the symbolic moment in the evolving much-storied narrative of MCM College, especially at a time when highly coveted and prestigious Oxbridge Blues are awarded to deserving students who have excelled within their chosen fields: sporting prowess; charitable work and service to music and the arts; and also completing St. John’s First-Aid and Defibrillator training (for emergency treatment of life-threatening cardiac arrests).
Shortly before the evening came to a close, the Executive Committee members of the current House Association officiated a simple ceremony of handing over the mantle to the officers of the newly elected HA. Mr. Sam Lin (Vice-President) invited his fellow students and distinguished guests of the High Table to raise their glasses to the new HA Executive Committee members who will take up office in May 2016.
