MCM College Stradivari Quartett
The Stradivari Quartett from Switzerland delighted a capacity audience with an informal superlative lecture-recital of music by Haydn, Weber, Brahms, Ravel and a surprise encore, Chinese galop by Huang Haihuai, in Moon Chun Memorial College Hall, Friday 23 October. The Quartet’s playing, interspersed with stories of each of their four Stradivarius string instruments - one made by Antonio Stradivari when he was 90-years old - kept the audience spellbound throughout.
